Reasons: Why not Canning College?

1. it is a government school. according to IDP, GOOD government schools are FEW and FAR BETWEEN. besides, there would be a lot of rivalry to get in because the locals who can not afford the private or independent schools' fees would be aiming to go in. since Canning College is so easy to enter, plus the fact that they have a lot of vacancies, it can't be a good college, can it? 2. i have to take VCE. okay. i explained it in my previous or many entrees already. taking VCE within 1 year is an intidimating thought. kinda freaks me out. i gotta take Cultural Studies or something like that. it's compulsory. how am i supposed to cover 2 years worth of syllabus by then? 3. it is not in melbourne. godma's family is in melbourne. so is joel and jialing though jialing is in victoria(i dunno the exact location of where she is.) 4. it is not near the city. come on, 10 mins by bus and a few hours by foot to the city? it's crazy. how am i supposed to get supplies if i can't just get out and buy but have to travel so much? friends' is just so much convenient..(explain why later) 5. no idea how the dorm is like or what dorm facilities they provide. do they have internet and telephone access? i don't want it to be like taylors in sydney where it's at your own expense to get internet and telephone access. excuse me, if they don't provide broadband or wireless, how are students supposed to get research materials for the projects they are given? how are they supposed to contact their family and friends??! 6. no knowledge of how the culture of the school is like mumsie says perth has many chinese and from the pictures, looks like it's dominated by mostly chinese. who knows? 'cause i kinda like the idea that you would be exposed to people of different originalities/countries. it's experience and it'd be fun too. but dominated by chinese, there's no difference studying in Singapore.also, chinese means technically china prs. one reason why i didn't want to enter Kilmore International School. too much competition. so i should reject this too right? 7. no gurantee a place in University of Western Australia hey, it was the main reason why i was attracted to it! since it's not available to me, i should just strike it off my list right? why is it staying still?.... (parents)
